Guidelines - Models Under 16 Years Old

  • All models under the age of 16 must be accompanied to all photo shoots and meetings by a parent or legal guardian.  Absolutely no exceptions will be made.
  •

  • If the model is accompanied by a legal guardian, that guardian must bring with them legal documentation of their status of guardianship.
  •

  • Models under 16 years old are allowed to bring one person, in addition to a parent, to the photo shoot.  However, this person must be of the same gender as the model, to avoid distractions.

  •

  • Models not able to produce a legal photo ID proving that they are over the age of 16 must follow the guidelines for models under the age of 16.

  •

  • Under no circumstances will I photograph any child under the age of 14 in a bathing suit nor will I photograph a model under the age of 16 in a two-piece swimsuit.  I highly recommend that models under the age of 16 do not shoot swimwear shots unless it is for an age-appropriate purpose such as lifestyle photography, not for glamor or portfolio work.  If you insist on these types of shots for models under 16, please use another photographer.

  •

  • The parent attending the photo shoot with the model MUST remail on set during the entire photo shoot, including preparation time and shooting.  If the parent leaves the set, so does the model.

  •

  • The parent or legal guardian of the model must also sign any required releases or documents according to law.
