Guidelines - Models 16-17 Years Old
- All models under the age of 18 must be accompanied to all photo shoots and meetings by a parent or legal guardian. Absolutely no exceptions will be made.
- If the model is accompanied by a legal guardian, that guardian must bring with them legal documentation of their status of guardianship.
- Models under 18 years old are allowed to bring one person, in addition to a parent, to the photo shoot. However, this person must be of the same gender as the model, to avoid distractions.
- Models not able to produce a legal photo ID proving that they are over the age of 16 must follow the guidelines for models under the age of 16.
- I highly recommend that models under the age of 18 do not shoot in two-piece swimsuits unless it is for an age-appropriate purpose such as lifestyle photography. Models 16-17 years old wishing to shoot in two-piece swimwear must have the parent attending the photo shoot sign a concent form for the model to do so, prior to the photo shoot. I will not shoot a model under the age of 18 in lingerie or underwear.
- The parent attending the photo shoot with the model MUST remail on set during the entire photo shoot, including preparation time and shooting. If the parent leaves the set, so does the model.
- The parent or legal guardian of the model must also sign any required releases or documents according to law.
